Don't make a promise to me

Don’t make a promise that you don’t intend to keep.
Don’t give your words to me when you don’t have any intentions of keeping it.
Don’t say ‘yes’ when you really mean ‘no’
I never insisted on anything.
I did not even beg.
But I’m not good in handling broken promises.
I do not easily forget stuffs like these.
I hate being left hanging.
I hate it when I’m left hoping and expecting.
I hate myself because I’m that kind of person,
Someone who hopes in the littlest of things.
But please, I don’t deserve this.
Tell me off from the beginning, I’ll understand and appreciate it more.
But I never want to be left stranded alone.
